Miss Burgin, Mrs Coppin and Mrs Ward 

Our quad in Year 1 is based on one of our reading into writing texts 'Room on the Broom'. The story is about a witch and cat who are happily flying through the sky on a broomstick when the wind picks up and blows away the witch's hat, bow, and wand! The children explore rhyming, adjectives to describe, exclamation and question marks in this unit. They write a set of instructions on how to make their very own broomstick and make it in the woods.

In Year 1 we provide an enriching environment in order for the children to develop high-quality interactions and develop a love for learning.
