Our school planners are used for effective communication between home and school. It is school expectation that planners are in school each day.

The planners are used to record daily reading, weekly spellings and spelling test results, messages from parents/carers and teachers. There are pages to note down any log in details and curriculum information to support the pupils with learning in class.

Sharing Pupil Progress using Planners

We have made sure there are opportunities for us to share pupils progress with you using our planners alongside Parents’ Evenings and End of Year Reports.

We have included the phonics progression for each sub phase to share with you what your child is working on to move to the next phase. Once your child is secure at a certain phase, they will receive a sticker of completion and it will be dated. The times tables tracker is new this year and will track your child’s progress of times tables across the year.
